Lease Research Provide assistance on the following: a) Tower leases/licenses/use agreements related to space for equipment located on radio towers, b) Ground leases for DMS towers, c) Memorandums of Understanding or Tower Use Agreements (TUA) with state or local entities d) Assignments and Assumption. Provide support to the SLERS Contract Manager and Leasing Manager for managing documents and recording information to a SharePoint filing system for all items listed in #1.
Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing reports, handling information requests, performing clerical functions, preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, tracking tasks, agenda preparation, and scheduling meetings. Ensuring all State of Florida statutes and rules are followed for the management of leases.
Job Description:
- Be knowledgeable about maintaining accurate records and files and about the State of Florida government's business practices.
- Be knowledgeable about the State of Florida government business practices.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understand how to maintain confidentiality of records in accordance with Chapter 119, F.S., and Department policy.
- Experience with Docu Sign (desired but not mandatory).
- Have at least three (3) years of experience in leasing (desired but not mandatory).
- Assist in researching legal documents, collecting and summarizing historical information, and preparing documents.
