Ops Clerk -
The student intern will assist the Florida Student Success Center (FSSC) staff in daily activities with the opportunity to work on various special projects. This is an established internship program in which the intern reports to the Director of the FSSC. The commitment is 20 hours per week between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Employment to begin on September 1, 2026.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct relevant research and data analysis
- Assist in creating reports and presentations
- Collaborate with staff on special projects/events as needed
- Participate in regular professional development training opportunities
- Support unit and agency efforts during the Legislative Session
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher and at least 60 completed undergraduate credit hours
- Strong communication, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience with Adobe and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working in a professional office environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled graduate student or advanced upper division undergraduate student
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Interest in government operations, higher education, and/or public administration.
