OPERATIONS & MGMT CONSULTANT I - SES

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the quality of health care in Florida. We are seeking to hire Operations & Management Consultant I who desires to work to enhance the delivery of health care services through the Florida Medicaid Program. This position requires a candidate who is creative, flexible, innovative, and who will thrive in a fast-paced, team based work environment.

This position is located in the Bureau of Medicaid Quality to provide advanced administrative and technical assistance in coordinating a variety of administrative functions between the Assistant Deputy Secretary, and the Bureaus of Medicaid Policy and Medicaid Quality.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Knowledge of office procedures and practices. Skill in typing. Ability to plan and organize work assignments. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to use data systems suchs MFMP, STMS, Flair, and others. Ability to travel with or without accommodation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS Three (3) years of administrative/office clerical work experience. Three (3) years of experience managing a calendar/schedule. Three (3) years of experience with Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Three (3) years of experience with Statewide Travel Management System.
