Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma or its equivalent and two (2) years of data processing experience. College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required experience provided such education includes three courses in data processing.

Job Duties:

Performs appropriate data entry transaction to maintain records and statistics using a complex interactive computer database, specifically, the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).

Indexes electronic and scanned documents to ensure proper storage and efficient retrieval.

Operates computer peripheral hardware for production and production control within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).

Organizes the workflow of scanned documents to ensure their appropriate distribution to designated staff and/or work units within the division.

Handles transmission of fingerprints to FDLE via Cross match.

Compares demographic information from applications to ensure that it matches what is being transmitted and that the division receives background results with accurate information.

Adjusts and edits photos submitted by applicants, using photoshop software/program. This includes adjustment of color and cropping.

Prints digitized licenses and generates production schedules and reports.

Researches the print processes of the EDMS to identify and resolve problems.

Receives, opens, date stamps, and sorts incoming and outgoing mail consisting of license applications with revenue attached, fingerpint cards, interoffice mail, sensitive and routine correspondence.

Prepares and batches incoming mail for scanning into the EDMS.

Operates a duplex scanner and scans incoming mail into the EDMS ensuring batches are correctly titled before scanning.

Performs other duties as required.
