Duties and Responsibilities The MS Business Consultant II position is a fast-paced professional position located in the Bureau of Records, Data Exchange Unit. This position will be responsible for administering and monitoring the exchange of data and information through contracts/memorandum of understandings, auditing, and data work orders. The incumbent will research inquiries, identify solutions, and interact with individuals in law enforcement, information systems, business entities and state and local governments, as well as the general public.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of Database Management and Data exchange processes. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Adobe pro. Proficiency in written, oral, visual and digital communication. Skill in auditing, reviewing, or analyzing data for compliance with regulatory requirements. Skill in providing excellent customer service to a diverse group of individuals, including internal and external customers, the general public and law enforcement.
Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, statutes and rules. Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data. Ability to think critically to develop recommendations or solutions. Ability to work independently. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information.
Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to applicants who have professional work experience:
Using Microsoft Word and Excel. Writing correspondence including letters, memos and/ or reports. Collecting and verifying data for accuracy and completion. Data exchange processes. Providing customer service.
