The Florida Dental Association, a constituent of the American Dental Association serving more than 8,000 member dentists, is seeking a Membership Coordinator with a friendly, customer-focused, professional demeanor. This position will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with members and prospects to grow our membership base. As a part of the membership team, the Membership Coordinator will primarily:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for a portfolio of members to include onboarding and providing support throughout the year
  • Conduct 50+ weekly outbound calls to members and prospects, as well as communicate by email, text, phone, etc.
  • Handle member and prospect inquiries
  • Support the member renewal process and assist with data hygiene
  • Work closely with our districts on member recruitment and retention efforts
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the various products and services available to members

REQUIREMENTS
  • An Associate's degree or higher is preferred with excellent interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written) and organizational skills with the ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Familiarity with CRM/AMS platforms (experience with Salesforce/Fonteva is a plus)
  • Requires computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member
  • Some travel may be required 2-4 times per year
