Responsibilities
The Department of Mathematics at Florida State University invites applications for three Dean's Postdoctoral Scholar positions in mathematics beginning in August 2026. Each appointment is for a period of two years. The Postdoctoral Scholar will be responsible for teaching two courses during both the Fall and Spring semesters. During the Summer term, Postdoctoral Scholars do not have teaching responsibilities and are expected to focus on their research.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in mathematics or a closely related discipline, possess a strong research record, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates whose research interests closely align with those of current faculty members
