Responsibilities
* The College of Social Science and Public Policy at Florida State University invites applications for Specialized Teaching Faculty (non-tenure track teaching) position in the program of Interdisciplinary Social Science (ISS). The ISS program is a bachelors level degree program emphasizing the use of disciplinary insights in the analysis of social issues and in evidence-based problem solving and decision making.
* This is a unique position designed to integrate disciplinary education.
* Responsibilities include teaching, mentoring, and advising students.
Qualifications
* The successful applicant will have a completed PhD, strong disciplinary training in the social sciences, and proven student-centered teaching.
* Experience at the university level, and an appreciation for interdisciplinary orientations to social phenomena.
