Child Care Specialist-Child Care Center

The Child Care Specialist provides and oversees the implementation of the curriculum for the staff of the Child Care Center. Provides resources for Child Care Providers and parents. Serves as the liaison with Plant Engineering for the upkeep of buildings and grounds.

Director/Child Care Center and the Child Care Assistant Director

Supervises:

Child Care Providers

Required Education:

Minimum:
High School Diploma/GED and 45 hour FL Department of Children and Families (DCF) Introductory Child Care Training course, including passing the competency examination. The Child Development Associate (CDA) credential issued by DCF or a Bachelor's Degree in a field related to Child Development is also required for this position. Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development.

Required Experience:

Minimum:
Two (2) years of job-related experience;
Preferred:
Three (3)+ years of job-related experience.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

Child Development Associate (CDA) issued by the FL Department of Children and Families
