The Work You Will Do:
Join our Organizational Development Office and help deliver meaningful learning experiences that empower employees to grow and succeed. In this dynamic role as Central Office Training Coordinator, you'll deliver training sessions, assist in the design of engaging training programs, and collaborate with teams to deliver impactful development initiatives for adult learners.

- Use a variety of training tools, including guides, job aids, presentations, and multimedia, to create a dynamic learning experience.

- Contribute to designing, developing, and improving learning programs and resources.

Annual Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000
Your Specific Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Central Office Training Coordinator, while building collaborative relationships on all levels.
- Manage the Central Office training calendar planning, scheduling, and delivery, to include coordinating statewide training meetings.
- Use guidance from leadership in determining training content to ensure relevancy.
- Prepare for and deliver various Florida Department of Transportation training sessions.
- Disseminate accurate and timely information relating to upcoming training opportunities.
- Maintain and provide the Florida Department of Transportation's Organizational Development programs, as examples of which include Mentorship and New Employment Orientation.
- Follow quality standards and processes to implement, evaluate, and improve programs.
- Collaborate with all districts and Turnpike staff to ensure consistency in programs like Mentorship and New Employee Orientation.
- Monitor and assess program curricula to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and useful for target audiences.
- Identify and collaborate with stakeholders in delivering recommendations for program improvements.
- Support the development of annual long-term and monthly short-term training plans for Central Office (CO) and the State Materials Office (SMO).
- Input training sessions and supporting information into the Department's Learning Management System (LMS).
- Update training advertisements, registration and completion information in the LMS.
- Use survey tools to evaluate CO training experiences.
- Support CO provider offices to ensure delivery of planned training.
- Maintain current listing of all Training Staff and Unit Training Coordinators.
- Provide support to the Supervisor of CO Programs with all training management tasks.
- Coordinate training resources.
- Ensure adjunct and out-sourced training teams receive necessary support from the Organizational Development Office, as needed.
