Correctional Services Consultant

The purpose of the Correctional Services Consultant is to support and enhance workforce education programming by coordinating professional development, managing educator certification and recruitment, improving processes and policies, maintaining records, and assisting with operational and administrative tasks to ensure compliance and effective outcomes.

Job duties include:

• Responding to questions and requests about educator certification and workforce education programs.
• Organizing and supporting training for workforce education staff at institutions.
• Working with recruiting, certifying, and training educators for workforce education roles.
• Supporting workforce education, higher education in prison, and re-entry programs across the state.
• Reviewing and improving processes, policies, and records, and supporting compliance and reporting for the Bureau.

Requirements include:

• Must possess four (4) years of professional experience in corrections, education or workforce development.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software.
