Position Specific Description Position is responsible for integrating new facilities within the NEER portfolio and will operate under general or limited supervision. Position with be primarily responsible for effectively collaborating across internal project teams and external stakeholders to successfully onboard and integrate new wind, solar and  battery projects into the NEER portfolio.  Position will review draft power purchase contract language and identify risks prior to execution, manage project integration planning with customers, service operators and internal stakeholders, support project financing due diligence, extract compliance obligations, analyze and communicate financial impacts to leadership, and coordinate internal and external project hand-off at commercial operations.  

Ad-hoc analysis may be required from time to time.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter, demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and can prioritize and multitask effectively.  Energy industry knowledge and project management experience preferred. Position is responsible for leading the overall management of a portfolio of generating assets in North America. Related responsibilities include performing robust analytics, profit and loss management, building customer relationships, ensuring compliance with power purchase agreements as well as financing and regulatory requirements, maintaining close working relationship with internal/external stakeholders and presenting ideas to leadership.

Ensure compliance with power purchase agreements, financings and regulatory requirements

Conducts analysis on operational drivers impacting the business and proactively identify opportunities for improvement to present to management

Manages and improves the optimization of asset interaction with energy markets

Maintains close working relationships with customers and stakeholders

Leads value-added projects such as the development of strategic plans, project development, asset optimization, restructurings, and building relationships with customers, state and local regulators, and other external stakeholders

Trains and mentors Business Managers and Business Management Analysts Position will have general supervision responsibilities to support junior members on the team. . Travel is expected to be up to 10% of the time.

Job Overview Employees in this position support the overall P and L management of one or more Next Era generating assets or upstream/midstream assets that have achieved commercial operation. This role supports strategic decision-making with respect to such assets, including hedging, operations and maintenance. This role identifies opportunities and analyzes the impact on company financials to maximize P and L profitability.
