** to join our team and champion workplace safety and environmental stewardship. In this role, you will be a key driver in developing, implementing, and sustaining our EHS Management Systems, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.

You will work closely with operations teams during
** second shift
** to identify risks, deliver training, conduct audits, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that make our workplace safer, cleaner, and more sustainable.

** What You'll Be Doing*
* ** Key Responsibilities*
* ** Safety Leadership & Compliance*
* + Lead and implement EHS programs in partnership with department managers and production employees.

+ Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

+ Conduct daily GEMBA walks to verify adherence to safety standards and identify improvement opportunities.

+ Monitor and enforce company safety standards, reporting compliance metrics to leadership.

** Training & Engagement*
* + Deliver engaging EHS training for general and task‑specific procedures.

+ Promote a safety‑first culture through active communication, coaching, and recognition programs.

** Risk Assessment & Incident Management*
* + Investigate injuries, near misses, and hazards to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

+ Conduct hazard assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and recommend countermeasures.

+ Document findings and create site‑specific safety action plans aligned with global EHS policies.

** Environmental Stewardship*
* + Manage environmental compliance programs, permits, and inspections (stormwater, wastewater, air quality, hazardous waste, residual waste).

+ Support sustainability initiatives and waste reduction programs.

** Continuous Improvement & Reporting*
* + Track and report Process Performance Indicators (PPI) in GIMs.

+ Support 5S workplace organization initiatives.

+ Participate in internal audits and document control processes.

** What We're Looking For*
* ** Required Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.

+ 1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ANSI, NFPA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.

+

Experience with document control systems and audit coordination.

+ Strong organizational and communication skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS software platforms.

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

** Preferred Qualifications*

Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation and auditing.

+ Risk management framework and tool experience.

+ Familiarity with Management Review processes and KPI tracking.

+ Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement training.

+ ASP or GSP certification.
