Minimum Qualifications:
* Five (5) years of experience in accounting or financial management, two (2) of which must have been experience with processing revenues, expenditures, billing or financial reports, or
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of experience with processing revenues, expenditures, billing or financial reports can substitute for the required experience.
Requirements:
Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal history check (fingerprint-based) in accordance with Chapter 435, Florida Statutes.
Office hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Not eligible for Telework.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will relate to auditing and reconciling expenditures in the Encumbered Disbursements Unit.
* Audit invoice reconciliations for all required documentation and approve using My Florida Market Place .
* Identify errors and reject invoices requiring additional documentation or containing errors.
* Communicate with management of issues that may become a potential problem.
* Review daily disbursement input for accuracy using daily input report(s).
* Process expenditure corrections as required to correct voucher errors using appropriate transactions.
* Monitor vouchers in audit status with Department of Financial Services to ensure timely posting and communicate with management if pending more than 3 days.
* Communicate both verbal and written to assist Commission personnel, other state agency employees, and the public with any information pertaining to the payment of disbursements.
Performs other duties as assigned.

* Knowledge and use of FLAIR, Word, Excel; formulas, pivot tables, merges, Outlook, RDS, MRE information systems
* Knowledge and use of mathematics, numbers and their operations and relationships with the business purpose
* Knowledge and use of accounting principles and practices
* Knowledge and use of reading comprehension, understanding of written sentences in related documents
* Knowledge and use of information gathering, knowing how to find information and identify essential information.
* Knowledge and use of problem solving, identifying nature of problems
* Ability to organize work, ability to interpret laws, rules, and processes
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to communicate effectively with others in both oral and written forms
