Minimum Qualifications:

* Three (3) years of experience in accounting or financial management, with one (1) year of experience processing reimbursements, billing, or financial reporting.

* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university may be used in lieu of one (1) year of the required experience in processing expenditures, billing, disbursements, or financial reporting.

Requirements:

Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal history check (fingerprint-based) in accordance with Chapter 435, Florida Statutes.

Office hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Not eligible for Telework.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

* Primary responsibilities will relate to auditing and reconciling grants in the Revenue and Grants Section.

* The incumbent will be required to complete training and attain proficiency in the Florida PALM accounting system to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of this position.

* Establish and maintain an electronic file for each grant/contract to include the grant award or final contract, budget details, if applicable, amendments, email communications, invoices, and financial reports.

* Conduct comprehensive monthly audits of the grants management system to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational policies and funding requirements.

* Maintain monthly grant cost tracking sheets by updating expenditures, revenues, and division-provided information, and coordinate with divisions to obtain billing approvals and ensure accurate financial reporting.

* Prepare and process grant billings by drawing down eligible funds, generating and submitting invoices, and creating revenue coding forms to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of payments.

* Perform monthly reconciliations on cost tracking sheets. Ensure grants are closed in a timely manner.

* Complete and submit federal reports by established internal and external deadlines. This includes, but is not limited to, monthly, semi-annual, annual, interim, and final federal reports.

* Monitor Period of Performance for each grant to complete federal reports in a timely manner.

* Serves as the FBO Grants Unit contact for assigned grants responsible for answering questions related to the division's awards. This may include, but is not limited to, RATS entry information, agency grant policies, and a cost-tracking sheet.
