Our Organization and Mission:
The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Pay: $54,500 Annually

Position Summary:

This position is in the Advocancy & Grants Unit within the Division of Victim Services.

Qualifications:

* Seven (7) years of experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work; or

* A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work.

* A master's degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.

Preference will be given to those with professional experience managing and project planning of local, state or federal grants.

The Work You Will Do:
The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

* This position requires independent work and is a highly responsible position that requires the ability to perform the major portion of the duties with a minimum amount of supervision.

* This position is primarily responsible for analyzing and overseeing the annual competitive grant application process within the Bureau. These duties include but are not limited to reccomending updates to the application and implementing the application process, providing technical assistance to the public both verbally and in writing, coordinating the technical review process of the application, developing and conducting trainings on the grant application procedures.

* Assists with coordinating technical assistance needs for employees and the public which may include reviewing, redacting, and preparing reports.

* This position may require minimal travel and extended work hours.
