GRANTS SPECIALIST V -
The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.
This Grant Specialist V position is in the Office of the Attorney General within the Victims Asst. Grant Adm Fund in Tallahassee, Florida.
Qualifications:
Six (6) years of administrative experience in the areas of accounting, banking, accounts receivable, payroll processing or other related field, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of administrative experience in the areas of accounting, banking, accounts receivable, payroll processing or other related field. Preference may be given to applicants with previous grant management experience.
The Work You Will Do:
This position's duties include but not limited to the following:
Completes special projects and assignments as directed. Reviews grant applications to ensure compliance with the grant program. Manages VOCA grants, which includes but is not limited to:
Conducting desk audits and reviews for program compliance and preparing reports of findings and corrective action needed. Reviewing and recommending approval for change requests and invoices submitted by subgrantees. Providing technical assistance to subgrantees on program requirements. Monitoring budgets, expenditures, and reporting requirements of subgrantees. Assisting in the implementation of grants management, including budget, expenditure, reporting and correspondence requirements of the grant program.
Preparing periodic progress and evaluation reports on grant activities. Related duties as required.
