Ops Records Specialist -
This position will perform duties related to fulfilling public record requests for the Department of Health. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include assisting in the process of receiving, processing, and responding to requests for public records; ensuring timely response to public record requests in accordance with public record laws; reviewing responsive records for exempt information and applying redaction prior to release;
conducting records research and data compilation; performing file management functions to ensure public records retention; copying or scanning records as needed; reviewing documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with public record laws; compiling data and information for public record requests; maintaining effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public; communicating effectively verbally and in writing; working with and meeting required deadlines utilizing time management;
and knowledge of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and one year of processing public record requests or tracking and managing multiple work assignments or related experience.
