We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Technology & Innovation team. In this role, you will lead cross-functional project teams through the full project lifecycle-working collaboratively to transform ideas into scalable, technology-enabled solutions. From system analysis and solution design to planning, acquisition, and implementation, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope.
You will collaborate closely with departments and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective digital solutions, leveraging modern tools, data-driven decision-making, and best-practice project management methodologies. You'll help guide the selection and deployment of technology that enhances efficiency, strengthens security, and supports long-term sustainability.
As a trusted technology partner, you'll provide hands-on support to departments by resolving system and process challenges, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring technology works seamlessly behind the scenes to support public service.

Minimum Training & Experience
Possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, business or public administration, or a related field?

Possession of four years of technical or professional experience that includes computer systems analysis/business process analysis?
or
Possession of a master's degree in computer science and three years of technical or professional experience that includes computer systems analysis/business process analysis?
or
Possession of a high school diploma or GED and eight years of technical or professional experience that includes computer systems analysis/business process analysis?

Special Requirements
The selected applicant must successfully complete a criminal background check including fingerprints. Must obtain Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) certification within 30 days of employment.
Salary Range
$29.0888 to $78.9348/hourly. Hiring rate generally will not exceed $60.2997/hour
Driver's License Requirements
Possession of a valid Class E State driver's license at the time of appointment.

Job essential responsibilities:
* Leads and coordinates cross-functional project teams and City resources to deliver information technology and innovation initiatives in alignment with departmental and Citywide goals.
* Plans, organizes, and oversees teams engaged in the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise information systems and technology solutions.
* Manages system implementations by coordinating approved project recommendations, training plans, support structures, and operational processes to ensure successful adoption.
* Evaluates integrated, multi-platform technology environments to support secure, scalable, and reliable City services.
* Performs cost and impact analyses, prepares economic comparisons of alternatives, and develops required technical and project documentation in accordance with City standards.
* Develops project procedures, implementation schedules, and supplemental recommendations; coordinates execution across departments and stakeholders.
* Designs and improves processes for secure retrieval, sharing, and access to enterprise-wide data to support transparency and data-informed decision-making.
