JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position serves as a statewide early learning expert to early learning coalitions, early learning partners, and stakeholders for the Division of Early Learning (DEL) program initiatives. Promote awareness and support of The Division's program initiatives through written communication, conducting training, and providing technical assistance and consultation services regarding Florida's early learning and developmental standards and guidelines, quality child care, early childhood professional learning and coaching, early childhood screening and assessment, child care regulations and CLASS program assessment.

This position is located in Tallahassee, Florida and requires the employee to work on-site.

* Write reports summarizing major findings offering policy recommendations for the coalitions, agency, and Legislature.
* Coordinate and provide technical assistance and training opportunities. Provide train-the-trainer opportunities for individuals who wish to deliver DEL training ensuring coordination with Coalitions.
* Create and develop resource materials appropriate for use by the early learning community;
* Coordinate statewide logistics for successful program implementation;
* Promote interagency collaboration by ensuring DEL representation on external committees and projects. Coordinate with other organizations and programs engaged in related activities and represent the DEL in meetings, conference calls, and work groups.
* Serve as project lead and subject matter expert for one or more DEL initiatives and be knowledgeable of others.
* Work with DEL Information Technology and Data teams to support the implementation of data collection, quality, and reports.
