OpenShift System Engineer

Optomi, in partnership with one of our premier clients, is seeking a highly skilled Remote Principal Systems Engineer with expertise in Open Shift, Dev Ops, and F5. This position requires an adaptable, self-driven individual who can provide high-level technical and operational support for our cloud-native infrastructure, managing complex systems, ensuring seamless integration and performance, and supporting ongoing updates across the cloud environment.

• Extensive experience with Open Shift: Proven ability to architect, manage, and optimize Open Shift environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Expertise in F5 load balancing: Deep knowledge of F5 configurations and its role in managing application traffic and ensuring security and performance.
• Cloud-native system engineering: Experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-native solutions, including server management, security, and automation.
• Infrastructure automation: Strong background in developing automation scripts for monitoring system health, patch management, and security updates.
• Server administration & network configuration: Advanced proficiency in configuring and maintaining complex server systems, with a focus on reliability and optimization.
• Backup & disaster recovery: Experience designing and implementing comprehensive disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and uptime.
