Position summary:
The research and training specialist reports directly to the special agent supervisor within the cyber crime technology & telecommunications division, cyber incident response investigations team and is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of various internal and external cyber security awareness training initiatives. The research and training specialist is also responsible for facilitating partnerships with external organizations in the field of cyber security.
Duties & responsibilities:
Specific duties include:
* facilitating partnerships with external organizations in the field of cyber security;
* developing and conducting c-safe training, keeping the course material up to date;
* developing and administering the secureflorida.org website, keeping the website material up to date; and
* performing other related duties as necessary.
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
* knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective communication;
* knowledge of the criminal justice system;
* knowledge of the methods of data collection;
* ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data;
* ability to utilize problem-solving techniques;
* ability to operate computers and other office equipment;
* ability to monitor criminal justice information activities;
* ability to work independently by planning, organizing, and coordinating work assignments;
* ability to communicate effectively; and
* ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with others.

Base salary:
