BI Developer to join our team in Tallahassee, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the modernization of Florida's financial systems through the Florida PALM Project. - Analyze the current data environment to identify necessary transformations for dashboard development.
- Collaborate with management to develop a comprehensive reporting roadmap.
- Enhance existing reports to meet current business needs.
- Automate data transformation processes, reducing reliance on Excel.
- Convert WebFOCUS and Mainframe FOCUS queries to T-SQL queries.
- Create database views and stored procedures for Power BI report facilitation.
- Develop dataflows and administer the Power BI dedicated workspace.
- Train staff on utilizing Power BI reports.
- Bachelor's Degree in technology or finance-related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Business Intelligence.
- At least 2 years of experience developing dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with IBM DB2 databases.
- Familiarity with data governance best practices and advanced data structures.
- Understanding of Power BI integration with Microsoft tools.
- Experience with Oracle Data warehouse.
- Knowledge of mainframe programming languages and financial systems like ERP.
- Experience with WebFOCUS.
