Word Press Developer – Part Time/ Full Time Remote
About the RoleWe’re looking for a talented Word Press Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean, responsive design and knows how to translate business needs into functional, optimized websites. You’ll collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing professionals to build and maintain high-quality Word Press sites for a variety of clients. - Design, build, and maintain Word Press websites using custom themes and plugins.
- Convert wireframes, mockups, and brand guidelines into responsive pages.
- Customize themes, troubleshoot issues, and implement new features.
- Optimize site speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
- Manage hosting, backups, and website security (plugins, SSL, updates).
- Integrate third-party tools (CRM, analytics, social media, payment gateways).
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to deliver polished solutions on time.
- Proven experience as a Word Press Developer (portfolio or live examples required).
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg) and theme frameworks.
- Knowledge of SEO, website performance optimization, and mobile-first design.
- Familiarity with MySQL databases and version control (Git).
- Understanding of security best practices and hosting environments (e.g., cPanel, Site Ground, WP Engine).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience building Woo Commerce stores or membership sites.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and custom post types.
- Ability to write clean, well-documented code and follow coding standards.
- Basic Photoshop or Figma skills for image optimization and layout adjustments.
