Enterprise Architect Position
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) requires the services of an Enterprise Architect experienced in Business Accounting Principles and Oracle EBS Financials software. FDLE needs a full-time contract position to enhance the Revenue Accounting Management System, Oracle E-Business Suite and provide support to other FDLE Information Systems.
The Enterprise Architect will manage and provide technical support for day-to-day system activities, receive knowledge transfer for the Oracle Financials System, produce and enhance documentation, work with technical staff and business subject matter experts to create test plans and test cases, perform first and second tier support and troubleshooting, provide clear and consistent regular communication, perform issue tracking, escalation and resolution, open tickets with Oracle as needed, provide estimates for completing assigned tasks, review existing configurations, make recommendations for process and performance improvement, update, modify, and correct problems in the customized code, perform analysis, design, programming and testing, produce deployment plans, follow existing procedures for production systems changes, perform research for new features or functions, make recommendations on how to design, develop and implement customer requested enhancements and new functionality, implement customizations, configurations and any new functionality necessary to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and operational capability of the system, obtain approval for all enhancements and new functionality for the Oracle EBS suite, including customizations, configurations, and external processes/interfaces prior to commencing the changes or development work.
Mandatory Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
include a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience, 3+ years functional/technical consultant and technical development of Oracle EBS Financials including R12, 5+ years knowledge and experience working with Accounting Business processes, verbal and written communication skills, Oracle Diagnostic and iSetup skills, BR100 Report Generation and Interpretation skills, experience with Oracle Relational Database Management Systems, Oracle PL
* SQL skills, Oracle Forms skills, Oracle Reports skills, and Oracle BI/XML Publisher skills.
