Position: Senior Database Administrator (DB2, SQL, Oracle)
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $59.80hr - $64.80hr Requirement/Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience. 15 years combined experience in database administration for DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server 2008R2, 2012, and Oracle 10g and above. Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS application integration, performance management, and database administration. Advanced knowledge of upgrading DB2 for z/OS. Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS catalog maintenance.

Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS sub-system point in time recovery. Advanced knowledge of JCL. In depth knowledge of the z/OS integrated platform. In depth knowledge of CA GEN model management and application object support. In depth knowledge of ISPF. In depth knowledge of the ASG Scheduler. In depth knowledge of COBOL. In depth knowledge of the use and interpretation of DB2 for z/OS database monitoring tools.

In depth knowledge of the use and interpretation of z/OS software monitoring tools. In depth knowledge of technical infrastructure implementation planning and coordinating. Solid working knowledge of z/OS started task creation and management. Solid working knowledge of IBI z/OS service support. Solid working knowledge of AFOPER commands. Solid working knowledge of RACF. Solid working knowledge of CICS. Solid working knowledge of IOF.

Solid working knowledge of the technical requirements of Disaster Recovery. Solid working knowledge of Oracle application integration, performance management, and database administration. Solid working knowledge of MSSQL application integration, performance management, and database administration. Solid working knowledge of verification testing techniques for infrastructure change management. Working knowledge of z/OS EXITs. Working knowledge of BJS. Working knowledge of Windows Servers. Working knowledge of SSMS, SSRS, SSIS.

Working knowledge of Azure. Responsibilities:
Ensure application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schemas meet standards for data requirements. Assist in the design, development, amendment, and optimization of the schema to meet system requirements. Develop database and warehousing design across multiple platforms and computing environments. Work as part of a team to develop an overall data architecture that supports organizational needs and meets security standards.

Perform daily operational and database administration activities. Plan, design, implement, and support database structures. Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning. Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation. Perform SQL Code reviews. Assist with training and mentoring other technical staff. Perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested. Nice to Have:

Experience with integrated database infrastructure. Knowledge of Financial Management applications. Knowledge of integrated application environments.
