Temp Tactical Procurement Analyst / Supply Chain
Pay: $28.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Start Date:
ASAP
Assignment Type:
Long-term temporary (no set end date)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tactical Procurement Analyst to support supply chain operations and ensure continuous component availability. This role focuses on maintaining on-time delivery, reducing material costs, and optimizing inventory while collaborating across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate supply chain updates and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate procurement, MRP, and supplier data
- Support resourcing, outsourcing, and new product initiatives
- Resolve shipping, receiving, and invoice discrepancies
- Monitor and reduce excess/obsolete inventory
- Participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S, VSM)
- Track exception, consumption, and past-due reports
- Coordinate supply planning activities
- 2+ years in procurement or supply chain
- Experience with global suppliers
- Lean knowledge (5S, Kaizen, VSM)
- Bachelor's degree
- CPIM, CSCP, APICS, or Six Sigma certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ERP experience (SAP preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of Kanban and supplier management
- Strong communication and collaboration
