Sustainability Specialist
Pro Sidian is seeking a Sustainability Specialist for Environmental Consulting and Management Services. This is a contract contingent or contract W-2 (IRS-1099) position with the possibility of conversion to a full-time Pro Sidian employed W-2 position.
The Sustainability Specialist will provide services and support as an Environmental Continuing Services specialist in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as the City of Tallahassee (TLH) and across the Southeastern Region.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement sustainability policies for municipal operations.
- Support ISO 14001 certification processes.
- Create metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of climate change mitigation strategies.
- Lead sustainability workshops.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001).
- Climate action expertise.
Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Policy, Sustainability, or related field; 3–7 years of sustainability experience.
- LEED or equivalent certification preferred; grant writing and community engagement experience desirable.

- Works closely with Program Managers and Environmental Scientists to embed sustainability principles across project life cycles.
