Who We Are:

Palm Point Behavioral Health (affiliated with Universal Health Services) is a 74‑bed behavioral health hospital located in Titusville, FL minutes from Cape Canaveral. Palm Point treats adults, children and adolescents with a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses including depression, anxiety and substance abuse in a modern and well‑appointed facility. It serves communities in Brevard County and beyond. Titusville, located on Florida’s Space Coast, is approximately 30 miles north of historic Cocoa Beach, and 40 miles east of Orlando’s famous theme parks.

Responsibilities

The Referral Management Coordinator is responsible for the timely processing of inquiry and referral calls. Serves as liaison to referral sources, physicians, unit staff and hospital personnel involved with each transfer request. Enters call data into the facility’s database and manages all e‑fax application(s) to process incoming referrals and transfer requests in a timely manner. Effectively commu­nicate with unit staff, physicians, and Admissions Triage Staff.

Follow hospital’s policies and procedures regarding referral management.

Qualifications
  • Education:

    Licensed RN or Master's Degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Sciences.
  • Licensure/Certification: RN, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT preferred. BLS required or obtained prior to direct patient care.
  • Experience:

    1‑3 years of experience preferred in Florida psychiatric health care.

Successful candidate must be local to the area and able to come to the Titusville office periodically.
