Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) - Level III NICU

We are seeking a highly qualified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our team at a prestigious Level-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This is a multi-specialty practice where NNPs collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, pediatric hospitalists, and a variety of specialists in pediatric cardiology, neurology, and more, providing family-centered, high-quality healthcare to critically ill neonates and high-risk mothers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment with skilled nurses, an on-site PICC team, and a full-time child life specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to neonates, including critically ill and premature infants, in a Level-III NICU setting.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, and pediatric hospitalists, to ensure high-quality, family-centered care.
- Participate in neonatal transports, staffed by a neonatal nurse and respiratory therapist, from regional hospitals.
- Provide consultation and management for high-risk mothers and newborns.
- Administer neonatal resuscitation and perform other medical procedures as required.
- Participate in shift-based scheduling, including 8-hour and 24-hour shifts.
- Board Certified NNP (required) - cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications.
- Master's Degree (minimum) and/or Doctorate in Nursing (required).
- Current 2+ years' experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) - not including RN experience.
- Florida state license (or willingness to obtain).
- Clean malpractice history (highly preferred).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to handle high-acuity cases and perform under pressure.
