Position Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers direct patient care and clinical services in an Urgent Care setting under the supervision of a licensed physician. Responsibilities include performing procedures, prescribing medications in accordance with established protocols, and providing patient education and counseling. The APP plays a vital role in ensuring timely, high-quality care for patients with acute medical needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for urgent and acute conditions

• Perform clinical procedures within scope of practice

• Prescribe medications under established protocols

• Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans and preventive care

• Collaborate with supervising physician and clinical team to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and patient education skills
