Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

$2448.00/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in the Labor and Delivery unit. The candidate will support mothers and newborns through various clinical tasks, ensuring safe and compassionate delivery experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care for mothers and infants.
• Circulate during C-sections and recover patients post-operatively.
• Perform advanced fetal monitoring and interpret ECG readings accurately.
• Float to related units such as Mother/Baby, NICU, or PICU as needed to support staffing demands.
• Maintain compliance with all certification and licensing requirements, including EPIC, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and document patient care efficiently using the EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Florida or Compact RN license.
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Labor & Delivery or Mother/Baby units.
• Demonstrate strong ECG interpretation skills and immediate newborn care experience.
• Possess certification in AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN-Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
• Be able to float between units, including NICU and PICU, with adaptability.
• Prior travel experience is not required but preferred.
