Job Duration: 12+ month contract

Job Overview:

• Developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
• Test planning, writing test cases/scripts, testing case automation, and executing tests.
• Defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test statuses.
• Collecting and analyzing data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrating them into business processes to address the business needs.
• Documenting all problems and assisting in their resolution.
• Delivering quality process training to technical staff and acting as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.
• Performing quality audits across various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years of systems development, testing, and/or business experience.
• Subject matter expertise for a single program/system.
• Ability to work on projects of moderate to high complexity within one (1) or more development environments; and
• Ability to work on multiple programs/systems as a project team member.
