As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and provide seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasionally, you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service.
Salaryand Schedule Details
- Your starting hourly pay rate is $14.00 to $16.00 depending on your skills and experience.
- Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

. - Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including potential weekend work, is required.
- Support for season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support is needed as needed.
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Use technology for communication, reporting, feedback, and surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
- Holiday support: Work additional days and extended hours leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. On certain holidays, you may be required to work on the actual holiday, including weekends.
- Department resets: Participate in installations and tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Advance notice of two weeks is typical for remodel assignments; work may include evenings or weekends.
- One Team Vision: Act as part of Hallmark’s field organization, supporting other merchandisers in the network as needed in their territories.
The job is physically demanding and requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
BASICQUALIFICATIONS
- At least 18 years old.
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
- Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
