Sales Consultant

Coastal Sunbelt Produce is seeking a driven Sales Consultant to grow wholesale produce and specialty foods sales across the Mid-Atlantic food service market. In this fast-paced, customer-focused role, you will prospect and close new restaurant, institutional, and food service accounts while nurturing existing relationships to expand product mix and volume. You'll provide product and pricing expertise, menu support, and responsive service, partnering closely with operations and logistics to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries.

Ideal candidates bring B2B sales experience in food service or distribution, strong territory management skills, and a passion for quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow wholesale produce sales with restaurants, institutions, and food service operators in assigned territory
• Prospect, qualify, and close new accounts through outreach, visits, and relationship building
• Manage and grow existing customer relationships, identifying opportunities to increase product mix and volume
• Provide product expertise, pricing, and menu support to customers to drive value and loyalty
• Coordinate closely with operations and logistics to ensure accurate, timely deliveries and high service levels
• Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance using CRM and reporting tools
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve service issues and maintain high customer satisfaction
