** Security Officer - Patrol Driver

** Tallahassee, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy requirements.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Monitor entry points and key areas, verify authorization as required, and assist with visitor processing and/or badge procedures in a tech and telecom workplace setting.

+ Complete written and/or electronic reports, log activities, and document security-related incidents, policy exceptions, and follow-up actions per post orders.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
