** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, hallways, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as conditions vary by site.

+ Monitor access points and observe activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, disruptive behavior, and/or other unusual activity within the healthcare location.

+ Support hospital or medical center operations by assisting with visitor directions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders and incident reporting procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Hospital vaccine requirements must be met.

+ Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include the morgue.

+ Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Must be willing to restrain individuals in a hospital setting when required.

+ At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
