Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions;
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, assist with access control procedures, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or policy violations;
Support a professional environment by offering directions, assisting with routine inquiries, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and suspicious activity according to site procedures;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate
