Commercial HVAC​/R Technician

Cool Sys is seeking a Commercial HVAC/R Technician to service, troubleshoot, and maintain heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems for retail, commercial, and industrial customers. In this field-based role, you'll diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and complete installations and retrofits with a focus on safety, reliability, and energy efficiency. You'll interact directly with customers, document work performed, and collaborate with a skilled technical team while accessing ongoing training, career growth, and exposure to advanced HVAC-R and energy optimization solutions across North America.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems at customer sites
• Perform preventive maintenance on heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment
• Install and retrofit HVAC/R systems and components to specifications
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using meters and diagnostic tools
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, codes, and company policies
• Document service activities, parts used, and recommendations for customers
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding findings and solutions
• Collaborate with team members and attend technical trainings to enhance skills
