Commercial Plumbers – Temp-to-Permanent Opportunity

Tallahassee, FL | Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Looking for steady commercial plumbing work with the opportunity to get hired on permanently?

We are hiring 4 experienced Commercial Plumbers for a long-term commercial construction project in Tallahassee. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity designed for plumbers who want to prove themselves on the job and transition onto the contractor's permanent team.

After completing 600 hours, you are eligible to be hired directly by the contractor.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced plumber looking for consistent weekday hours, long-term work, and the chance to build a career with an established commercial contractor.

The Opportunity

• Temp-to-permanent placement
• Eligible for permanent hire after 600 hours
• Long-term commercial construction work
• Monday–Friday schedule
• 6:45 AM–4:00 PM
• Consistent full-time hours
• No regular overtime expected
• Opportunity to join the contractor directly
• 4 immediate openings

What We're Looking For

We need experienced commercial plumbers who can work from plans and complete installations with limited supervision. This is not a helper or entry-level position.

Qualified plumbers should have:

• 4+ years of commercial plumbing experience
• Commercial new-construction experience
• Underground, rough-in, top-out, and finish plumbing experience
• Ability to read commercial plumbing blueprints and isometric drawings
• Ability to perform basic layout and determine proper drainage slope
• Experience with sanitary waste, vent, and domestic water systems
• Experience installing copper, PVC, CPVC, cast iron, and PEX
• Fixture installation experience, including toilets, urinals, sinks, faucets, and water heaters
• Experience measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, soldering, and assembling piping
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
• Basic commercial plumbing hand tools

Additional Experience Is a Plus

OSHA 10, Journeyman licensing, lift certifications, Pro Press, cast iron/no-hub, copper soldering and brazing, medical gas, and commercial mechanical-room experience are all highly valued.
