We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Designer to create, maintain, and update technical drawings, product documentation, and bills of material. This role works closely with sales, customers, engineering, manufacturing, and other plant departments to ensure drawings are accurate, meet specifications, and support efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain product documentation, technical drawings, and bills of material (BOMs).
  • Collaborate directly with sales teams and customers to develop drawings from sketches, blueprints, existing drawings, photographs, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and other plant departments to ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and free of errors.
  • Update and revise drawings as needed to support ongoing production requirements and prevent manufacturing delays.
  • Utilize drafting resources and technical expertise to develop tools, processes, hardware, and software solutions that improve efficiency.
  • Produce detailed drawings in accordance with customer, company, and vendor specifications while adhering to established corporate drafting standards.
  • Ensure documentation is properly maintained and updated throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Drafting Design or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of drafting or design experience.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles used in the production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred
  • Experience with CAD software, including Solid Works.
  • Experience with analytical and design software tools.
  • HVAC industry experience.
  • Ability to interpret and create technical drawings from a variety of source materials, including sketches, blueprints, and customer specifications.
  • Strong presentation and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

Compensation: $30.00 / hr
