Position Overview
Two positions available! 1st & 3rd shift! If you’re a skilled CNC professional who takes pride in quality and performance, this is your opportunity to step into a role where your work truly matters. We’re seeking a Level 2 CNC Operator to machine high-performance cylinder heads on 4-axis Makino A81and DMG machining centers, producing components that power serious horsepower. - Maintain the readiness of CNC machines, including indicating axis, etc.
- Prioritize individual workflow to operate multiple CNC machines efficiently to hit productivity goals.
- Prepare castings for CNC machining including the installation of components.
- Deburr, wash, and pressure test parts.
- Assist with setups including changing fixtures, tools, measuring tools, and program changes.
- Perform all required quality inspections to ensure product meets or exceeds quality standards.
- Report labor, productivity, and other KPIs promptly and accurately.
- Follow all established processes and safety procedures.
- Monitor inventory of cutting tools and machining supplies.
- Perform basic machine troubleshooting.
- Perform PMs as scheduled and ensure that all machines are properly maintained.
- Assist in development and training of Level 1 CNC Operators and identifying training needs of the team.
- Other duties as assigned.
High school graduate, minimum of 5 years machining experience in a production environment.
- Hands‑on operation experience with CNC machining centers.
- 4‑ or 5‑axis VMC and/or HMC experience.
- Fanuc Pro3 or Pro5 controller experience a plus.
- Experience with measuring and gauging equipment.
1st shift – Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm. 3rd shift – Monday to Friday, 1am to 9:30am.
