We are looking for a PT
Sample Kit Processing Technician
2nd Shift who wants to contribute to meaningful work, support our mission, and grow within a caring, values-driven environment.
In this hands‑on role, you will help our LAS operations keep pace with customer and field technician demands by preparing and maintaining sample kits. Your work ensures that insulating liquid samples can be processed effectively, accurately, and on time. Daily responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and preparing syringes: banding components, running the dishwasher, transferring to the drying oven, and reassembling for barcoding
- Scanning and producing barcodes for syringe cards and boxes
- Preparing bottles of various sizes with proper barcodes
- Opening, barcoding, shrink‑wrapping, and inventorying non‑barcoded syringes
- Breaking down boxes and separating cardboard from trash
- Sweeping and mopping laboratory floors twice a week following safety protocols
- Assisting with other tasks as needed to support lab operations
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Willingness to learn and consistently apply:
- PCB handling and storage regulations
- Chemical hygiene practices
- General laboratory and safety protocols
- Operation of cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow step‑by‑step processes
- Reliability, good communication, and the ability to work independently or with a small team
- Indoor laboratory setting within an industrial‑style facility (PPE provided; not a clean room)
- Possible exposure to non‑toxic dust, fumes, noise, and occasional handling of regulated materials
- Supportive team environment with a focus on safety and Good Place values
- Frequently standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching
- Ability to work at a workstation for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Good hand strength for operating syringes.
Work 2nd shift, 3:30pm to 11:30pm. 8hour shifts.
