Are you a Wireline Field Operator looking for a new opportunity? Join our OFS Wireline Team at Baker Hughes.

• Preparing for jobs and performing tool maintenance, pre-job and post-job tool checkout.
• Rigging-up and rigging-down equipment at the well site.
• Servicing mechanical devices and building logging cable heads.
• Perforating cable heads and maintenance on the tools.
• Maintaining well site/DOT records and communications as required by District Manager.
• Promoting and maintaining good customer relations.
• Receiving instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on well site activity.
• Performing basic duties at the well site and at the shop.
• Driving company vehicles in a safe manner while observing company and government regulations.
• Participating in quality improvement efforts for ballistics operations.
• Supervising and training other Field Operators while maintaining a high level of safety awareness at the well site.
• Performing other related duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Heavy mechanical aptitude, including hands‑on experience working with tools, equipment, engines, or other mechanical systems.
• 21 years of age or older to obtain ATF explosives certification.
• Ability to drive a manual (stick‑shift) vehicle and have a Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement OR successfully pass the company’s driving test on a manual (stick‑shift) vehicle and obtain a Class A or B CDL and/or Hazmat endorsement within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work on‑call 24/7 and have the flexibility to remain at well sites for extended periods.
• Ability to travel as required, including frequent regional travel and occasional extended stays at remote locations.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a federal background check.
• Computer literacy for communication, reporting, and other work‑related tasks.

• Possess a Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement at the time of hire.
• Demonstrated hands‑on mechanical experience such as equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair work within the oil & gas industry.
