Occupational Therapist – Full-Time

Greenwood Center for Nursing and Rehab, a skilled nursing facility in Tamaqua, PA
, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our in-house rehabilitation team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping residents regain independence and enhance their quality of life within a collaborative and supportive environment.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate residents, develop and implement personalized treatment plans, and provide high-quality therapy services in alignment with clinical best practices. You will work closely with nursing and therapy staff to deliver coordinated, resident-centered care.

• Develop individualized treatment plans to address each resident’s functional and physical needs

• Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and clinical standards

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support comprehensive care planning

• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies to promote safety and independence

• Track progress and update treatment goals based on ongoing assessments

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) in the state of Pennsylvania

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-focused care

• Experience in a skilled nursing setting is preferred but not required
