Monday to Friday, flexible shifts (06:00-16:00 or 07:00-17:00 or 08:00-18:00)

We are recruiting an experienced LCV Technician, Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic, or LCV Fitter to join a new, well‑equipped workshop in Hyde. You'll maintain, repair, and inspect a varied fleet of vans and light commercial vehicles to manufacturer and safety standards. This role suits a motivated LCV Technician, Van Technician, Light Vehicle Technician, or Commercial Van Mechanic who enjoys diagnostics, quality workmanship, and career progression in a supportive team.

• Carry out servicing, repairs, inspections, and routine maintenance on vans and light commercial vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Perform safety inspections and record findings to industry/manufacturer standards
• Complete accurate job cards, service sheets, and workshop documentation
• Maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and housekeeping across the workshop

Essential:

• Hands‑on experience working with LCVs/vans in a professional workshop
• Strong technical, diagnostic, and fault‑finding skills
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship

Desirable:

• LCV or full UK driving licence
• IRTEC accreditation or equivalent manufacturer training

• Exposure to a varied LCV fleet with modern diagnostic tools
