Role Description

Pennine Security Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our team. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys working with numbers, and can manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring that all bookkeeping functions are completed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and vendor statements
  • Enter, review, and maintain financial transactions in Quick Books Online and Quick Books Enterprise
  • Assist with month-end reporting and financial summaries
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and documentation
  • Ensure all bills are paid accurately and on time
  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders as needed
  • Assist management with ad-hoc financial tasks
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency in Quick Books Online and Quick Books Enterprise is mandatory
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of professionalism and reliability
  • Proficiency in Financial Statements preparation and analysis
  • Ability to accurately record Journal Entries and review financial records
  • Have a good understanding of budgets and financial restraints
  • Have a basic understanding of taxes for Florida and Ontario. Other States and Provinces will be added in the future

  • Part-time (approx. 15–20 hours per week; schedule to be discussed during interview)
  • On-site only— this position is not remote
