Accountant, Accounting Manager

Job Description

40 year old specialty contractor in Tampa seeks a detailed person to manage all accounting functions in local office in Tampa.

We seek a detailed oriented person to manage all accounting functions. Experience in the construction industry preferred. HR experience required.

Good communication skills, with hands on experience to oversee accounting, AP, AR, banking, state and federal regulations.

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years in similar role with experience in large contracts of $10 – $50 mil.

• Develop and maintain all account records and policies
• All financial reporting
• Manage cash flows
• Coordinate and prepare quarterly statements and projections.
• Work with 3rd party CPA annually
• Manage AP /AR individual
• Oversee HR and payroll

• Accounting degree
• Experience with XL, Computer ease, insurance programs, employment law, personnel management
• Office setting
• Monday to Friday
• Work location – one – in person
