Senior Corporate Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to work with one of our clients here in the Tampa Bay area! This is a direct hire position with opportunity for career growth.

• Prepare and maintain financial records including but not limited to the general ledger, budgets, forecasts, and other ad hoc reporting
• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
• Assist with audits, ensuring adherence to standard GAAP requirements
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
• Report analysis and findings to management team
• Act as a team lead and mentor to staff accountant

• Must have a 4-year bachelor's degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited university or college
• At least 4 years of experience in accounting for a mid to large company, or 2-4 years of experience in a public accounting firm

• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools, including strong Excel
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
