Our client is a mission-driven, community-focused healthcare organization in Tampa.
Following a recent merger and continued expansion, the organization is strengthening its accounting team and hiring a Staff Accountant (open to early Senior level) to support multi-entity operations in a fast-paced, grant-supported environment. This is a hands‑on, full‑cycle role with strong exposure to cash, revenue, and reconciliations, offering growth opportunity as the department continues to restructure and scale.
Key Responsibilities- Perform full-cycle accounting including AR, AP, and GL reconciliations
- Process and reconcile cash, ACH, insurance payments, and physical deposits
- Post revenue accurately and reconcile to bank and subledger accounts
- Assist with month-end close and reporting
- Support grant-related accounting and revenue classification (preferred for at least one opening)
- 2+ years of accounting experience (open to early Senior profiles)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred;
Associate’s degree with solid experience considered - For Senior-level consideration: 4-year degree with 2–3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with bank reconciliations and revenue/AR processes
- Strong attitude, reliability, and willingness to take ownership
